Respect Life Ministries
Respect Life Ministries
The Catholic Church proclaims that human life is sacred and that the dignity of the human person is the foundation of a moral vision for society. This belief is the foundation of all the principles of our social teaching. In our society, human life is under direct attack from abortion and euthanasia.
Our Respect Life ministry is focused on promoting and defending the culture of life in our parish and to be stewards of life from conception to natural death. Our mission is to meet the needs of the most vulnerable including but not limited to:
- Mothers and their unborn child
- The seriously ill or dying and their family
- The disabled
- Prisoners
- Healing for those affected by abortion
“Never tire of firmly speaking out in defense of life from its conception and do not be deterred from the commitment to defend the dignity of every human person with courageous determination. Christ is with you: be not afraid!”
St. John Paul II
Prayer for Pregnant Mothers
As our parish embarks on this Year of Service project: Walking With Moms In Need, we are here to provide real, tangible support to moms in need. We ask that you please keep all mothers in your prayers especially pregnant mothers who are facing difficulties:
O Blessed Mother, you received the good news of the incarnation of Christ, your Son with faith and trust. Grant your protection to all pregnant mothers facing difficulties. Guide us as we strive to make our parish communities places of welcome and assistance for mothers in need. Help us become instruments of God’s love and compassion. Mary, Mother of the Church, graciously help us build a culture of life and a civilization of love, together with all people of good will, to the praise and glory of God, the Creator and lover of life.*
Amen.

Walking with Moms in Need
Pregnant and parenting moms in need are in our parishes and our neighborhoods. Everyone in our parish community should know where to refer a pregnant woman in need.
In order to assess, expand, and better communicate resources to local pregnant moms and families in need, our parish has joined a nationwide effort from March 25, 2021-March 25, 2022 entitled: “Walking With Moms In Need: A Year of Service.”
We invite all parishioners to join us as we embark on this Year of Service. For more information, please contact Anne Hughes (602-402-0385) or Sarah Babler (623-824-8941 or smilzs2@gmail.com)
