Classes offered for 4 and 5 year olds are considered "religion readiness," introducing everything in their world, with awe and thanksgiving, as gifts from God.

The goal of the R.E. program is to nurture the faith of children through lessons, service prayer and worship. Catholic doctrinal teaching begins with 1st grade and continues through out. Each year includes study of holy days, the liturgical seasons, prayers and practices held sacred to the Catholic tradition. Being a part of a worshipping community, and service as a part of our baptismal call is emphasized throughout. Parental involvement is essential. . Each grade has an overall theme:
Grade1: Baptism, God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit, and the Trinity
Grade 2: The Mass, Reconciliation, and Eucharist
Grade 3: The Creed
Grade 4: The Commandments and Beatitudes
Grade 5: The Seven Sacraments

Publisher: Harcourt Preparation for the sacraments of Reconciliation and Eucharist follow the policies and guidelines of the Diocese of Phoenix, requiring enrollment and regular attendance in R.E, usually beginning with 1st grade. (See sacrament page.)

FAMILY FAITH (INTERGENERATIONAL)
Alternate Sundays 10am-12pm
Family Faith offers the support of other families to grow in knowledge, to share values, to build up the community, and to deepen family love. The program is designed to connect faith with every day life and help make it more understandable, more livable, in light of our Catholic beliefs. Open to families of any size or age.

Monday-Friday 9am-12:15pm
VBS is offered toward the end of June each summer for Pre-K-5th grade. It is designed to be fun and fast moving! Scripturally based, some basic truths are reinforced through songs, skits, prayer, food, games, and lessons. Registration begins in April.
